It was an exciting morning for us, we were headed to the Grand Opening at Gideon’s Bakery at Disney Springs. We arrived early, I thought. When we arrived at the parking garage there was already a long line of cars to get in. When we started down the escalator we saw the long line of people that had formed to sign in for the virtual queue. When we checked in at the virtual queue she told us it would be an 8 hour wait, whoa!
A Great Way To Spend Our Time At Grand Opening
While we waited to go to the Grand Opening at Gideon’s Bakery, what a great way to spend our time, eating and shopping. We had lunch, dinner and snacks at Disney Springs. We did some shopping also. We finally got our chance to go into Gideon’s at 7:20 p.m. It was absolutely worth the wait. The bakery is themed as an old book store and believed to be haunted. It is very cool! The cookies are huge and delicious. I bought the Santa’s White Christmas Cookie, yummy! They also have amazing cakes and cold brews.
We Had A Great Experience At The Grand Opening At Gideon’s Bakery
We had a great time at Disney Springs and going to Gideon’s. It was definitely worth the wait. The cookies and cakes are absolutely delicious. We also received our free Gideon’s poster signed by the artist for being the first 1000 guests. I can’t wait to go back to Gideon’s.
