I cannot think of a better way to celebrate Earth Day than at Disney Animal Kingdom 24th Anniversary. Disney opened Animal Kingdom on April 22, 1998.
Earth Day at Animal Kingdom
This year the weather was perfect. We got to see some characters that we haven’t seen before. Koda and Kenai are so fun to meet. The bears love to interact with the guests. Russell and Kevin are always fun to see. They love to pose for the camera.
Treats for Earth Day
The Earth Day celebration cupcakes are amazing! The Pink Flamingo cupcake is a strawberry cake filled with strawberry compote topped with tropical guava frosting, pink, white chocolate wings and strawberry pearls. The Honeybee cupcake is an orange cake filled with honey cream topped with buttercream white chocolate honeycomb and sugar bees. They are both so delicious.
