Disney’s Animal Kingdom celebrates its 25th Anniversary on April 22 this year. It also is Earth Day. What a perfect day to celebrate the opening and anniversary of Animal Kingdom.
The day started out with a celebration ceremony in front of the Tree of Life. You could meet special Disney characters to mark the celebration. It was the first time that you could meet Moana. You could also see the characters on the boats on the Discovery River.
Amazing Treats for the 25th Anniversary
There were amazing cupcakes and treats. The 25th Anniversary Alive with Magic cupcakes was absolutely delightful. The other dessert, Colossal Elephant Roll looked really impressive.
Animal Kingdom Anniversary Desserts
The three other treats are so amazing. The Beehive Mousse Dome is a brownie base topped with honey mousse. The Elephant Cupcake is a graham cracker cake with pineapple filling with matcha buttercream icing. The Flamingo Cupcake is strawberry cake with strawberry compote filling, guava buttercream icing.
The 25th Anniversary Celebration
There was plenty of wonderful 25th Anniversary merchandise, from pins, shirts, cups and magnets. It is wonderful that Disney’s Animal Kingdom celebrates 25th Anniversary on Earth Day. It was a fun celebration.
